Understanding metrics and the data basis
What do these numbers tell me?
WIP: started, still open work on the board. Discuss the agreed team limit; a personal number is not a utilisation rating.
Blockers: work flagged as blocked. Zero does not automatically mean unhindered flow: unrecorded blockers stay invisible.
Done: documented completions in the given period. The count measures neither a person’s productivity nor customer value.
Age: here the time since the ticket was created, not pure working time. Check the next step on the ticket before you infer a problem from its age.
Making sense of lead time, cycle time and percentiles
Lead time here measures creation to completion, cycle time start of work to completion. Depending on the measurement boundary, both include waiting time. Support and product development may need different boundaries.
p50 is the median. For the historical p85, about 85% of measured durations were at or below it; it is not a delivery guarantee. Check the period, issue type and sample. The difference between medians does not measure waiting time.
A fresh import does not prove that tickets are up to date. Use numbers to start a conversation and open the underlying work.

KANBAN MATURITY MODEL
Your maturity, your next steps
The existing Team Cockpit remains the source for the flow indicator and the self-check. No separate maturity level is calculated here yet.
Assessment in the Team Cockpit →The flow-metric indicator, the self-check and portal readiness are different signals.
Practices and background knowledge →Hints for my work focus
YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO IMPROVEMENT
Read matching practices →Guidance from your profile role; not an automatically detected gap.
